We apologize for our downtime this weekend as we were performing an upgrade to the site. We've moved to a new server so speeds should be significantly quicker. We also tweaked the layout a bit and added over 800 more products while simultaneously lowering prices. This is good news all around!
We'd like to thank everyone for their support and understanding. We will definitely be reciprocating the love through our customer service to you. Check back often, we've got other big things lined up. Happy shopping!
To tell you the truth, I don't like to read reviews but there just aren't enough video reviews out there so we decided to make our own. We give you a little information about the product and put it through a few tests to see how it does. Today, we decided to review the Jabra BT2070 headset. It is quite the headset with some great audio quality, check out the video if you want to hear it.
If you'd like to purchase the Jabra BT2070, you can find it here
We just added some new accessories for the T-Mobile myTouch 3G, also known as the HTC Magic. There's a variety of 12 silicon skins to choose from, these skins are laser cut and scratch resistant. Because they're made of silicon there's no need to glue or permanently attach it to your phone, simply stretch it over your phone without any tools or glue.
We also have an extended battery (with included black extended battery door!) for those of you who feel the stock battery doesn't pack enough juice. If you don't want to increase the size of your phone but would rather carry an extra stock battery, we have that too! Act quickly though, we have a very limited supply in stock.
Unfortunately the great state of California has decided to increase sales tax by 0.50% effective today. As such, all new orders with shipping addresses in California will be taxed at the new rate of 9.75%. The good news is... for everyone ordering from outside of California, NO SALES TAX! So you can still take advantage of our low prices and our free shipping promotion.
Also, our free shipping promotion (buy any 2 items and get free shipping) will soon be coming to an end, so take advantage of this $3 savings while it's still available!
I decided to write an article about how to save your battery because I noticed that a lot of my buddies change their batteries within a year or less. With a little bit of care, you can extend the life of your battery on a daily basis so you aren't stuck to a charger and hold off how often you have to buy a new one. I hope you enjoy it. Happy reading!
I just stumbled onto a more in-depth review of the BlueAnt S1 from www.i4u.com. This is the most comprehensive review I've found so far (they actually test it in a convertible, or so they say). If anyone finds an even more thorough review, shoot me an email at blim(at)mycellularsource.com. So here it is... http://www.i4u.com/full-review-553.html
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, we certainly are at My Cellular Source. So we recently got the BlueAnt S1 available and it's looking pretty good. BlueAnt first announced this hands free Bluetooth device back in April during CTIA 2009, and now we finally have it available only a few months later.
I haven't had the chance to use the device yet, but lets run down some points anyway. I believe this is BlueAnt's 5th Bluetooth car kit and the key difference between all prior models is the support for A2DP. Yes, this means you can now stream music from your phone (if your phone also supports A2DP) directly to the hands free device. The S1 isn't a music device and the audio from your car stereo is probably a lot better. However, I suppose it's handy for people who don't have Bluetooth enabled stereos in their vehicle, just don't expect to stream hours of music without constantly recharging. Despite the S1 supporting A2DP this really isn't big news, as Parrot introduced their MK6100 almost two years ago which similarly had A2DP support.
Surprisingly BlueAnt has dropped the text-to-speech function for the S1, which was a prominent feature in its predecessor, the Supertooth 3. I don't consider this a terribly big loss as it's usually much quicker and easier to glance at my phone for caller ID (mounted on my dash) than it is to painfully listen to it butcher an eight syllable name.
